This could've been a Monday update

Sorry I left y'all hanging.

But I took my sweet time figuring out exactly what I was gonna do about the Fossil.
When we were here las time I was filing a police report or I'd already done so   . . . or something?
There were two nuts on the ground just inside and behind the right front tire.
The neighbor'd reported to us that somebody had messed with the car the evening before.

The assumption is they were going to remove the catalytic converter.
There is a lot of that happening regularly here in our town.
The favorite target is the Prius, followed by the Honda.

The main reason I took so long to do something about it is that I couldn't move the car because the battery was dead . . .   had been so for about five days.
I hadn't done anything about that because a single vehicle was all we had needed.
Oh, and I had to get a new lamp for the driver side low beam headlight, which to replace requires removing the battery.
I looked up the process for the lamp replacement on YouTube.
The first video that came up for me showed removing body parts.
I was like, "WTF*!"
Then I found two more that showed me the right way.

Anyway, the Fossil is at the dealer.
That's because the battery is a 100 month Honda battery with only 61 months wear.
They'll do the two nuts for free.
The only issue now is that the headlight lamp is sitting on a shelf in the hutch in the dining room.
I can do that when I get the car back.

*Well, that's fantastic

(Expletive deleted)

I'd actually planned to post something today . . .
. . . just not this:

Some lowlife, negative charged, nefarious, self-centered, and selfish individuals paid us a late nigh visit.
Let me rephrase that.
The (insert your favorite descriptive expletive) vandals messed with the Fossil last night.
So far all I have been able to ascertain is there are two bolts on the pavement near the right front tire.

We are only aware of the situation because the next door neighbor emailed MB that her dog woke her early this morning and she heard noises out front.
She looked and saw a dark van in front of our driveway and two individuals run from behind my car and drive off.

I would look to see what may have been removed, but I already have my suspicions and can't really get under the car because it's really close to the ground and jacking it up is not an option.

So instead of writing a post I filed a police report.
oh, this is a post
