Something about road trips

 MB and I returned from her granddaughter's wedding last week.

She posted all about it on koobecaf because blooger just doesn't work for what she wants to do with her posts.

We were away from home for a little more than three weeks.

We drove to Wisconsin and back.

It was a grand adventure.

We saw lots and lots of sights and added to the list of National Parks we have visited.

I've found a few irritants on this trips we take.

The complimentary breakfasts found at most of the motels and hotels pretty much all consist of prepackaged foods.

Many of the places we stayed had a mixed fruit selection much like the above.

They taste pretty good.

Only the company that makes them puts way too much juice in the container and it is virtually impossible to keep from spilling... sometimes it even squirts great distances.

Then, there's the "free" wifi.

Periodically it is necessary to use it.

MB's tablet, for example, does not have a cellular connection*.

Most of the wifi at hotels uploads and downloads at a snail's pace or slower.

Another is being put in a ground floor room when multitudes of families with children are present.

Kid's don't have a clue about what it sounds like downstairs when they're jumping on the bed upstairs.

A corollary to this is being upstairs in a place without an elevator.

There were some other things that bothered me, but I forget what they were.

*we found that we could use the hotspot on my phone as we neared the end of our trip.
