Sharon and I just returned from the annual family Thanksgiving gathering. This year it was at Janet &
George's... they would be my sister and brother-in-law... in Clovis, which is down in the southern part of Northern California right next to Fresno. My other sister, JoAnne, her husband, Greg, and Nate, their son were there. Also there were
Sara , her husband
Woodyand little
Georgia. They are the
Blogs Woodys. Anna, Ken and baby
Eden were there too, as was Rebekah, my third niece. We spent so much time catching up and trading
bacon recipes that we were unable to spend enough time to solve the world problems.
As I mentioned in a previous post, there was football on the radio for the drive down and the outcome was about as I foresaw. What I didn't foresee was that the other two games would be pretty much the same. It was actually more interesting to watch my nephew, Nate play Rockstar on his Wii. So that's what we did.
Plans are now underway for the next family gathering in March to celebrate St Patrick's day. My guess is that we'll do it on March 14 because St Pat's is on Tuesday.
