Travel Day

 Uh huh, MB and I are on the road   . . . again!

We are visiting the WADaps* because their youngest is a HS Senior and has a role in his school’s musical. It’s our final opportunity to see him perform. We’ll be back again next month for his graduation at the hockey arena. 

It has taken me some time to realize that I don’t mind not driving. It’s kinda nice to step back. 

* designates the Washington state branch of MB’s family. The other branches are WisDaps, OHDaps, and CalDaps. Then there are my extended bunch, the WAshers, Flashers, and CAShers. Still others don’t yet have acronyms yet. 

I haven’t stopped

 I just don’t seem to have time for this. 

Do I miss it?  Yes!

But I would miss the other things I do now even more if I was doing this. 

Monday update

It’s just plain hot here. 

The a/c went out yesterday 

I forgot

 . . . I was doing updates.

I could almost forget I even had surgery. 

There is an occasional twinge; a little swelling; and a kind of lump where the surgeon cut, poked, and shoved stuff around. 

MB reminded me this morning that tomorrow ends my two weeks restriction for lifting . . .    not that I don’t have to continue to be careful. 

All in all, this has gone pretty well. 

I still don’t recommend it.

Whew!

Yesterday we started out in Dublin and after taxiing I didn’t once think about taking another photo until this morning as this post is written. 

So what I saw of Cape Cod as we landed at Boston is just a beautiful though. 

Same for the next flight between Boston and Detroit. 

Also, for the gridlock at DTW arrivals. 

Who designed that place, anyway?
