I forgot to say that we made it home... two days ago.
It's still smoky here, but not nearly as bad as last week when we left.
We had an enjoyable, even relaxing time at Long Beach. We saw some old friends and made some new ones. We ate very well. There wasn't a bad meal during the entire trip.
