Belay that

We missed two!
So it turns out there were four, not three, tornadoes yesterday.
Most years there aren't have any. This year there've been at least five.
Most times when there is one, it an EF0, or maybe an EF1. One of those yesterday was an EF2.

    I've lived here long enough to realize that there's no way we can figure our weather from one year to the next. The media weather folks keep comparing temps and rainfall to "normal." I keep thinking I've never seen normal. What they mean is average, median, or mean, all of which are just statistics, which come somewhere after lies and damn lies.
