So yesterday my alter ego responded to a comment by Suldog that our winters were such that we don't have to shovel the rain.
It appears I lied

The irony of this entire exercise is the incident takes place on a hillside. Not quite visible downhill, less than a quarter mile away, in the picture is the Sacramento River.

yikes! it seems it's been such a weird winter no matter where in the states you are.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that around here there's hardly a year goes by that I don't hear someone say, "This sure has been a weird winter"
DeleteThe most interesting part of it all, to me, is that things are blooming now that shouldn't have started until the end of April around here. They're going to be mighty sorry when August rolls around and they find their leases are up early :-)
ReplyDeleteWell, it's rare when ya gotta shovel rain, so that IS newsworthy.
ReplyDeleteWe're all abloom here in P-Ville, and it's glorious. Early, too.
The blooms seemed early here, too. Then this latest wx system came along and took care of a lot of them
ReplyDeleteThere's another system due momentarily that'll add to the two and a half inches of rain so far this week
